Job Description

AI House Intern

Location: on-site at AI House’s Seattle office 2-3 days/week

Hours: 10-15 hours/week

Timeframe: 3 months

Reports to: AI House Events & Community Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and technically inclined Intern to join our team at AI House. AI House is the premier AI space in Seattle for experts, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and builders who are creating the next era of AI in Seattle.

This isn’t your average intern role — you’ll be our go-to generalist , supporting our IT infrastructure and the daily rhythm of the office , helping keep everything from conference rooms booking software to coffee machines running smoothly.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and ever-evolving environment — where no two days look the same and where you’re empowered to build and optimize at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a jack-of-all-trades for IT and facilities support, wearing multiple hats throughout the day.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain office and AV tech systems (e.g., check-in platforms, conference room AV, conference room booking software etc.).
  • Optimize and scale office systems by identifying inefficiencies and proactively implementing improvements—leveraging existing tools, introducing automation, and applying AI.
  • Support general office operations , including light cleaning, organization, restocking supplies, and ensuring shared spaces are tidy and welcoming.
  • Assist with event setup and teardown , AV testing, and guest hospitality.

What We’re Looking ForMinimum Requirements:

  • Current college or university student or graduate.
  • Availability to work 10–15 hours per week on-site.
  • Experience in IT and tech-enabled workflows .
  • Strong interest in and experience with AI and vibe coding , the process of quickly creating, adapting, or hacking together functional digital solutions.
  • Tech-savvy and curious about how systems work (and how they break).
  • Ability to lift or move light equipment (e.g., chairs, cables, tech gear) when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field. (This is preferred but not required — we welcome applicants from diverse academic backgrounds who can demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.)

You’ll Excel If You:

  • Thrive in fast-moving startup environments and bring calm and clarity to the table.
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities .
  • Take initiative and act proactively — you don’t wait to be told what to do when you see a problem that needs solving.
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Have experience using or building with low-code/no-code tools , and you're eager to test and integrate new tech.
  • Love to experiment with ways to make processes faster, simpler, and more delightful .
  • Aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves , whether it's solving a connectivity issue or sweeping up after an event.

How to Apply

Send an email to leslie@ai2incubator.com including a link to your LinkedIn profile, your resume and answers to the questions below:

  • Why this role speaks to you,
  • What your favorite tech tool or automation is, and
  • One system you’ve helped build or improve — large or small.
