Job Summary:

The Senior Living Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of senior living projects, ensuring alignment with both client objectives and company goals. From initial engagement to successful project completion, this role drives project performance, scope, and execution. The Senior Living Project Manager manages all aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, they provide accurate scope estimates, proactively address challenges, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams to deliver high-quality senior living solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management : Prepares strategic plans for project success and serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion. May represent as the Architect of Record.

  • Financial Management: Assures the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects by monitoring projects contributions and profit margins and is accountable for architectural and engineering project team performance against established budgets. Accountable for all financial aspects of the business operation for the area of responsibility.

  • Client Relationship : Accountable for keeping clients informed of project status, including budget, schedule, issues, etc. and managing the client’s expectations around the project design through individual and project team member communication.

  • Performance Management : Works with team members to establish clear goals and expectations, provides ongoing feedback, develops skills and knowledge of team members, and rewards people for their behavior and results.

  • Risk Management : Partners with leadership to oversee legal and liability issues, including managing the contracting process, securing executed contracts that fit within the company’s risk and financial thresholds.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree preferred

Certifications and/or Licenses: Licensed architect; NCARB preferred

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous supervisory and project management experience.
  • Previous experience with healthcare or senior living architecture.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulation approval processes.
  • Experience with Revit software.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a professional, creative, open office environment with business casual attire.
  • Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours and will average 2,300 hours per year.
  • 20% national travel required.
