Location: 10250 Constellation Blvd, Century City, Los Angeles, US (3 days working in the office)

About This Role

Bigo Live is looking for a Business Analytics intern to join our user team! A successful candidate will be dependable in delivery and reliable in knowledge. If you have a drive for business intelligence and insights beyond the given information you will excel at this role.

Internship length : at least 6 months as a full-time intern with the opportunity to convert to full-time employees based on performance and headcount

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automations, visualizations, and reporting tools used by operations
• Use SQL to extract data and create reports.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Provide actionable insights to user group teams and leaders.
• Become subject matter experts on areas of emphasis and be able to flag significant changes quickly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field i.e. mathematics, economics, business, statistics, etc.
• Proficiency in various forms of SQL e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets formulas and functions; Scripting language experience like Python, R, Javascript, Google App Script a plus
• Understand and be able to communicate data into actionable goals
• Comfortable with presenting data and information to others, sometimes non-technical audiences
• Versatility in focus and coordination with other team members
