Onset DNA is a mobile DNA testing company redefining how individuals and families access confidential, accurate, and compassionate genetic testing. We partner with accredited laboratories to provide convenient, on-site testing for paternity, immigration, ancestry, and medical purposes.

As we expand throughout Texas and beyond, we’re seeking driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Representatives who can build relationships, generate leads, and drive revenue growth through meaningful community and professional partnerships.

Position Overview

The Business Development Representative plays a key role in expanding Onset DNA’s footprint by cultivating new partnerships with attorneys, healthcare providers, social service organizations, and local agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter who thrives on independence, enjoys connecting with people, and has a passion for making a positive community impact.

Key Responsibilities

New Client Acquisition

  • Identify, contact, and establish relationships with new clients and referral partners (family law firms, OBGYN offices, immigration attorneys, and community organizations).
  • Promote Onset DNA’s services through networking, outreach events, and professional presentations.

Sales & Partnerships

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to build and execute sales strategies that drive consistent growth.
  • Create lasting partnerships that strengthen Onset DNA’s reputation and market presence.

Revenue Generation & Performance

  • Earn commission on every client contract you secure.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales targets to unlock higher commission tiers and milestone bonuses.
  • Track and report progress through CRM and performance tools.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or marketing (healthcare or legal industry preferred).
  • Proven ability to  build relationships and close sales in a service-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit — comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule, and driving your own income.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, legal, or laboratory services is a plus.
