Job Description

Our client, a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, is seeking a highly skilled Labor & Employment Associate for a long term temporary position. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team where you will gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of cases, including labor issues, wage & hour class actions, PAGA lawsuits, and employment litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support employment litigation cases
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on employment-related issues, ensuring proactive and effective solutions.
• Work on a variety of employment law cases, such as labor law disputes, wage & hour claims, and PAGA lawsuits.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Attend client meetings, depositions, and hearings as needed.
• Take on increasing responsibility in case preparation and client interactions.

Qualifications:

• Mid-level experience in Labor & Employment law
• Actively bar license with a preference for those licensed in California
• Proven experience handling single-plaintiff and class action litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• A proactive, client-focused approach to employment law issues.
• Excellent academic credentials and a genuine passion for Labor & Employment law.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Details

• Rate - Competitive compensation based on experience with a range of $80-120/hour
• Duration - Temporary (with potential for extension, depending on client needs)
• Location – Remote
