Director of Operations – Homecare Agency

About the Role  

As the Director of Operations , you will oversee the daily operations of our homecare agency, ensuring smooth workflow, compliance with industry regulations, and financial stability. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, optimizing office efficiency, and maintaining a strong company culture that prioritizes client care and employee satisfaction. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to drive strategic growth and operational excellence. 

What You’ll Do  

  • Oversee day-to-day operations , ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance. 
  • Lead and support staff , including recruitment, training, and performance management. 
  • Process payroll, billing, accounts payable/receivable , and budget planning on a bi-weekly basis. 
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance workflow. 
  • Ensure HR best practices , workplace safety, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Lead and develop Mission, Vision and Culture of the organization 

What We’re Looking For  

  • Experience : 5+ years in homecare, healthcare management, operations, or HR leadership
  • Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 
  • Skills : Strong leadership, self-starter, infectious positivity, problem-solving, ability to handle stressful situations and financial management abilities. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, HR practices, and operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in office management software and homecare industry systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, process payroll and billing, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership abilities and successful team building track record.
