Job Description

A leading global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced EHS Consultant to provide onsite environmental, health, and safety support. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive safety culture, compliance, and risk management in a high-volume, production environment.

The Role:

This is a contract position where you will be a vital partner to site leadership and front-line teams in implementing and enhancing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advancing a proactive safety culture. Working onsite, you will support continuous improvement initiatives to protect employees and promote operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with site leadership to review, update, and implement EHS policies and programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations through audits and corrective action planning.
• Conduct workplace hazard identification and risk assessments, recommending and supporting mitigation strategies.
• Lead investigations into incidents, emergencies, and near misses to determine root causes and oversee corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver site-specific EHS training to engage and educate employees.
• Manage EHS requests and coordinate with corporate and site stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in EHS, preferably manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and training skills.
