If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.** **Job Description:** We are hiring a Software Development Manager to lead a team of developers to support VCF in its jerney to improve customer adoption of the VCF product by converging all components onto a single appliance platform. Your role will be to keep on enhancing platform capabilities to allow platform adoption across VCF and its customers. As a **Software Development Managers** you will provide hands-on leadership to development teams. You will oversee the full software development lifecycle-from planning to deployment-while ensuring quality, performance, and alignment with business goals. You will be also responsible for team collaboration, while ensuring timely delivery of scalable, high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include: + Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications + Managing all the activities of the software development team and setting goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery + Defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation + Providing guidance to the team and ensuring they adhere to development standards + Ensuring adherence to software development methodologies and best practices + Collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements + Managing software development budgets and expenses + Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions + Identifying training and skill development needs for the team **Key Requirements** + Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field + You have proven experience in leading development teams + Deep understanding of Kubernetes, GoLang, Python + Experience with Kafka, Rabbit, stream technologies, Databases + You have extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions + You are a good mentor & coach + You possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills + Technical leadership and software architecture experience + Agile/Scrum proficiency + Strong stakeholder management and business acumen + Resource planning skills + Proficiency in modern development frameworks and DevOps tools **Experience** + Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years OR Master's degree plus 6+ years experience + Minimum of 12 years of overall experience of which a minimum of 3 years is in management. **Additional Job Description:** **Compensation and Benefits** The annual base salary range for this position is $141,300 - $226,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
