Job Description

Associate Attorney (Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration)

About Us:

The Wagon Legacy is a growing law firm dedicated to helping families protect what matters most. We focus on estate planning, probate, and trust administration — and we do no litigation at all . Clients are everyday families: hardworking people who have built their lives and now want to protect their assets and provide for their loved ones. We pride ourselves on professionalism, compassion, and teamwork — guiding clients through life’s most important decisions with clarity and care.

Our Culture:

We’re not a high-stakes litigation firm. We’re a people-first practice that helps families navigate real-world and estate planning challenges with patience, empathy, and integrity. Our work is about building lasting relationships, solving problems with care, and giving clients peace of mind. Position:

We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney who may have limited legal experience but possesses the right mindset and values. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and develop a rewarding legal career in a supportive, client-focused environment.

Why Join Us:

  • Hands-on training and mentorship in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
  • Growth opportunities within a supportive and collaborative team
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • A chance to make a real difference for families — without the stress of litigation or running your own practice
Compensation:

$90,000 - $120,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting wills, trusts, and estate planning documents
  • Assisting with probate and trust administration matters
  • Meeting with clients (with supervision and training provided)
  • Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda
  • Supporting other attorneys in case preparation and client communications
  • Appear in court for probate matters
Qualifications:
  • Licensed California attorney (or newly admitted)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential matters with care
  • Compassionate, client-focused, and comfortable working with families from all walks of life
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Team-oriented personality who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment
