Human Resources Generalist

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be a vital part of the HR team, implementing various HR programs and policies. Your role will encompass a broad range of HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s human resources activities.

• Recruiting, onboarding and Terminations
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Keeps HR and Safety team informed of Driver violations, as well as expiring licenses and DOT medical certificates and endorsements
• Must have HRIS experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Post update and monitor open positions on recruiting websites.
• Administer new employee on-boarding and orientation.
• Develop and maintain talent management processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
• Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
• Conducting Benefit review meetings.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management.
• Knowledge of employment and wage laws.
• Recruiting, onboarding and Terminations.
• Must have HRIS experience.
• Keeps HR and Safety team informed of Driver violations, as well as expiring licenses and DOT medical certificates and endorsements.
• Labor law knowledge skills.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
• Recruit new employees and evaluate current employees.
• Workers' Compensation administration
• In depth understanding of organizational development, compensation, staffing, training, performance management, and employee & labor relations functions.
• Proficient in PC applications, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
