KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
A dynamic supplier for portable toilets, restroom trailers, and hygiene stations is looking for a Key Account, Sales Representative to join their team! This is a remote role with someone ideally located in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA. They are responsible for developing a customer base, driving new business development, and implementing sales strategy. This is an opportunity for someone with strong Inside Sales and Business Development experience to have long-term growth and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify new accounts, drive partnerships, increase business growth, and develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Identify opportunities for growth within assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met
- Negotiate pricing and close sales with clients
- Track market trends and report sales strategies
- Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
- Play fundamental role in setting up new businesses; take responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new customers.
- Provide updates on level of competition and general market activities daily to the general manager.
- Give up-to-date information relating to customer activities.
- Establish relationship with clients and provide high standard of customer service continually.
- Organize and arrange specified records and files in order to keep track of financial transactions.
- Understand customer’s business strategy and market position to identify opportunities that lead to new business.
- Maintain and build strong knowledge of product line and the competitive environment.
- Understand and apply knowledge to solve customer needs, challenges, and concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-5+ years of experience in sales, account management and/or business development.
- Strong account management and relationship building skills.
- Ability provide and ensure prompt communication with customers.
- Demonstrate confidence and foresight in soliciting for new businesses and reactivating old accounts.
- Ability to work out sales deals that will accomplish budgeted margins and correspond to the company’s sales policies.
- Good relationship building and accounting or business management skills.
- Familiarity with administering major accounts at head office position.
- Excellent supervisory, evaluation, and reassessment experience.
- Exceptional skills in resolving financial statistics with little supervision.
- Strong competence in working efficiently in a complex multi-faceted setting.
- Ability to learn and apply new approaches and stay on top of marketing and sales techniques, technologies and tactics that complement organizational sales efforts.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to working in an organization with remote work and frequent travels.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated to exceed sales growth results.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Compensation: Base salary $50-65k + commission + travel reimbursement.
- Work Location: Remote/on the road. Ideally able to go into one of the offices on a monthly basis (a little more starting out to get to know the team).
- Travel: Will require daily travel within the territory of NC (Raleigh NC and Jacksonville NC with opportunity to grow)
