Junior Technical Project Manager

Location : Englewood, CO 80112 (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Contract Duration : 2 year contract (with potential for conversion to full-time)

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our team on a 2-year contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role. This position is crucial for managing technical projects and handling private cloud infrastructure for their revenue-generating applications.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Quickly pick up technical knowledge to minimize the need for extensive guidance.
• Oversee the migration from GitHub to JIRA, ensuring seamless integration and mapping between systems.
• Work closely with engineers, demonstrating assertiveness and a strong backbone.
• Navigate and manage ambiguous situations with confidence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
• Learn and understand technical reporting requirements and communicate findings to leadership in meetings.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with JIRA is ideal, but a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly is essential.
• Written or spoken technical knowledge is preferred.
• Must be local to the area.
• Ability to work with team members assertively and confidently.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
