GENERAL SUMMARY:
Works as part of a team of librarians whose expertise and knowledge base support educational, clinical, research, and administrative activities at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS). Specifically, this includes teaching of classes, expert searching of the health science literature, reference services, unit liaisons, creation and maintenance of resource guides and other web content, and clinical, data, and research services in support of USAHS students, faculty and staff.
Responsible for the management of all activities associated with the campus library including supervising library assistant, maintaining library resources, providing library services, and maintaining an appropriate environment. This is a 100% onsite position in St. Augustine, FL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
a. Troubleshoots problems with library technology such as printers, 3-D printers, virtual reality devices and programs, copiers, computers, etc.
b. Trains, schedules, and supervises part-time student library workers.
c. Proctors individual exams as requested according to the Library Proctoring Policy.
d. Orients new students to library services and collections.
e. Maintains borrower records in library information management system.
f. Notifies students of outstanding fines and collects monies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for six to eight hours daily and includes physical demands associated with a traditional office setting, e.g., walking, standing, communicating, and other physical functions as necessary.
Hiring Range $63,900 - $83,160
Compensation is a reasonable estimate and will be determined using the hiring range listed above and factors including, but not limited to, skillset, level of experience, education, and physical work location, to the extent consistent with applicable law.
