Job Title: Logistics Coordinator I

Location: Old Ocean, TX 77463

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (DuPont schedule), including potential overnight shifts

• Day Shift: 4:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Night Shift: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Truck Billing Clerk to support our logistics operations by weighing inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring accurate load calculations, and maintaining compliance with legal and client-specific requirements. This role is critical in maintaining smooth terminal operations and timely processing of shipping documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment and is committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and document inbound and outbound shipments of various products
• Calculate load values using weight, temperature, and capacity data to ensure compliance with legal limits and customer requirements
• Generate and distribute Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Manifests in compliance with DOT regulations and client policies
• Compare load orders against SAP entries to ensure accuracy
• Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records for internal and external reporting
• Collaborate with drivers, terminal staff, and logistics personnel to ensure efficient loading and delivery processes
• Monitor and proactively address potential discrepancies or safety issues in load documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to meeting deadlines
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including overnight and weekend hours as needed
• Experience with SAP, TechWord, and other logistics or ERP systems
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving work processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a refinery, terminal, or logistics environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to handle competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working in a team setting
• Customer-focused with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
