Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a MANAGER - SYSTEM BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICS to join our team!

The Manager - System Business Intelligence & Analytics directly impacts the organization by partnering with business lines to deliver data solutions that support decision-making, problem-solving, and operational improvement. This role oversees a portfolio of analytics products and services, including dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses, while managing intake, prioritization, and resolution of data-related requests.

The Manager leads a team of professionals by removing roadblocks, promoting autonomy, and fostering skill development. This hands-on position blends technical expertise, leadership, and strategy to deliver scalable analytics solutions that align with corporate objectives and improve business processes.

HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. This is an on-site position in Wausau, WI with no remote opportunity.

Experience/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in analytics or business intelligence.
• Expertise in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI) and data management platforms.
• Advanced skills in report and dashboard development, focusing on user-friendly, scalable solutions.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse designs, relational databases, and best practices.
• Experience managing complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and analytical programming languages (e.g., Python, R).

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is a licensed private/not-for-profit facility with 325 beds and staffed by 350 physicians in 35 specialties. Aspirus Wausau Hospital is a Level II trauma center that provides primary, secondary and tertiary care services as a regional referral center.
