ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Materials/Materials Engineering Technician for our client in the Medical Device Industry. Great opportunity for someone with experience working in a lab and testing materials to contribute to developing first of its kind technology!

• Develop and execute engineering test protocols.
• Create data forms and tables, specify and procure test hardware, prepare samples, and document results.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment in R&D Lab and keep clean work environment.
• Assist engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test products and processes by working from diagrams, written instructions and verbal instructions.
• Analyze test data and present results to engineers verbally and/or in writing.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• A 2-year technical degree, BA, or BS in engineering or physical sciences, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a test lab and executing test protocols.
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and good documentation practices.
• Experience with basic lab equipment and tools, including but not limited to, tensile testers, force gauges, load cells, multimeters, hand tools, inspection equipment, etc.
