Nursing Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee acute and chronic care plans for individuals in residential programs.
Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, and internal teams to ensure seamless medical care and communication.
Advocate for individuals' health needs and manage care transitions, including hospitalizations.
Supervise nursing staff, assign cases, and monitor performance and efficiency.
Oversee staff training related to health, wellness, and medication administration.
Ensure all documentation and medical records meet regulatory and quality standards.
Provide guidance to direct support and management teams in implementing care plans.
Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all state and agency regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Proven experience in nursing, with a background supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing nursing teams or healthcare operations.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
