About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Order Management Specialist to join their team in Westminster, MD. This full-time, on-site position plays a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by managing customer orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring accuracy across all documentation and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and enter customer orders into the company's ERP system with complete accuracy.
  • Prepare and send purchase orders to vendors; follow up on confirmations and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate regularly with vendors and internal teams to resolve questions and verify pricing or documentation.
  • Track multiple orders and projects, monitoring materials, lead times, and priorities.
  • Maintain organized, detailed documentation across orders and communications.
  • Support quoting, pricing verification, and other project coordination tasks as needed.
  • Help identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, project coordination, or administrative support (manufacturing or distribution preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and ERP or database systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset - someone who takes initiative, asks questions, and follows through.

Compensation

Estimated pay range: $54,000 - $63,000 annually (depending on experience), plus full benefits and bonus eligibility.
