Project Specialist Overview

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid position)

Responsibilities:

  • Confident Project Specialist with powerful interpersonal skills that allow you to communicate effectively with Project Managers as well as other team members.
  • Candidate must be resourceful, proactive, extremely organized with the ability to handle multiple initiatives, ask intelligent project necessary questions for the role support.
  • Experience in working across many different business areas and stakeholders.
  • Be a very good listener and understand the needs of the Project Manager.
  • Excellent communication skills are required and will be analyzed.
  • Strong Project Management scheduling skills and organizational skills are required in addition to the other PM Competencies listed below.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, demonstrates Critical Thinking skills
  • May track costs and project performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives achieved.
  • Serve as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management processes and making improvement/changes.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and project leaders.
  • Ensure project control systems are in place and integrate project data for decision makers.
  • Administer and maintain project management software and tools.
  • Organize and Publish project-related documentation in various sources

Project Specialist Qualifications

  • Candidate must have at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a Project Management, Project Coordination or Project Specialist role.
  • Ability to run projects of varying sizes.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, taking minutes/notes, ability to work independently, organized, detail oriented.
  • Clarity and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Familiar working in an Agile environment.
