What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Build strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care with external providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Athena EHR.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active MD or DO license in Louisiana
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• DEA and CDS Licenses
• Local to Baton Rouge or willing to commute

Preferred:

• 2+ years of outpatient behavioral health experience
• Experience with Athena or similar EHRs
• Expertise in treating children, adolescents, and families
