Recruitment Consultant

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN INTERNAL TALENT ACQUISITION ROLE, THIS IS A SALES ROLE .

Location : Houston, Texas 77002

Start Date : June/July Tentative start date (Interviewing now)

Work Setting : On site (4 days in office, 1 day remote)

Salary : Base of $40,000. The on target earnings (OTE, including base and commission) in year 1 is $50-55k, in year 2 is $60-80k and in year 3 is $95k+

This person would be responsible for Business Development (bringing in new clients) as well as sourcing and placing candidates!

Cold Calling (50-70 dial outs per day) will be an integral part of this job, individuals in this role love to hunt new business and create relationships with new clients.

Responsibilities:

• Helping the team find and match candidates to the right job openings.
• Building a network of skilled candidates (even those not actively job searching) by reaching out and developing relationships.
• Talking to clients to understand what kind of person they're looking for, beyond just skills.
• Screening candidates over the phone to assess their skills, experience, and motivation.
• Arranging interviews and providing both candidates and clients with the details they need.
• Market research, tracking trends in sector.
• Cold Calling into new target clients and pitching Spencer Ogden's recruitment services.
• Negotiating terms/contracts with clients.
