Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team as an individual contributor . This role is responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, assess, and hire top talent in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction roles, workforce trends, and talent pipelines while working closely with hiring managers to support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting – Manage end-to-end recruitment for construction roles, including project managers, estimators, field engineers, site supervisors, and skilled labor.
  • Sourcing & Outreach – Develop and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, industry networks, trade schools, and employee referrals.
  • Candidate Screening – Conduct initial interviews and coordinate technical assessments to evaluate candidate fit.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and long-term staffing plans.
  • Employer Branding – Enhance the company’s recruitment presence through career fairs, networking events, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Compliance & Documentation – Ensure recruitment processes align with company policies and labor regulations, maintaining accurate records in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Pipeline Development – Build and maintain a talent pool for future hiring needs, including diversity and veteran hiring initiatives.
  • Offer Management – Negotiate and extend offers, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal compensation structures.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or skilled trades hiring.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction job functions, and industry challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job board tools (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS recruiting certification.
