Job Details

The buyer planner is responsible for managing the supply of finished goods manufactured or distributed by Vitalitec USA.Specifics:

• 10-25% travel expected.
• Based in Plymouth, MA.

What will this role involve?

• Forecasting demand.
• Developing the Master Production Schedule.
• Placing purchase orders.
• Managing supplier performance.
• Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting.
• Managing inventory turnover.
• Communicating product availability.
• Developing and publishing backorder recovery plans.
• Ad hoc reporting.

What we're looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree
• Three or more years’ experience in purchasing or planning
• Highly analytical
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience in using QuickBooks a plus.
• Ability to exercise tact and good interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to be pro-active, with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate technical documentation.
• Highly motivated.
