Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join a thriving audiology practice in Ocala, FL . This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping patients improve their hearing health through personalized care, advanced technology, and continuous education.

• Annual earnings of $80,000–$100,000 (base salary + commission)

Qualifications

• Education: Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (required)
• Experience: 1+ year fitting, dispensing, and providing aftercare for hearing aids
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in troubleshooting, modern hearing aid technology, and patient management systems
• Soft Skills: Compassionate communicator, enthusiastic team player, and community-minded healthcare advocate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations and recommend amplification solutions
• Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids based on individual patient needs
• Educate patients on hearing aid usage, expectations, and long-term care
• Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in audiology
• Conduct follow-up appointments to ensure successful hearing outcomes
• Collaborate with clinic staff to enhance service delivery and clinic growth
• Lead and participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives
