More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day. **A Brief Overview** The LPN participates in the provision of nursing care by performing specific activities and technical procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse. **What you will do** + Planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs + Interviewing patients and recording their medical history + Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms + Administering injections of medications + Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately + Observing and recording patients' conditions and reactions to medications and treatments **Education Qualifications** + Diploma as a Practical Nurse **Experience Qualifications** + Clinical LPN experience Preferred **Skills and Abilities** + Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers. + Epic experience preferred. + Strong PC skills preferred. **Licenses and Certifications** + Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.
