Job Description

LHH is seeking a Medical Billing Inside Sales Representative in Valencia, CA with extensive knowledge and experience in medical billing and insurance processes. This role is fully onsite and direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insurance Process Expertise: Manage utilization, pre-certifications, referral authorizations, and pre-service appeals.
• Medical Documentation Review: Interpret patient history, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Pre-Authorization Submission: Ensure timely submission of demographic and clinical documentation.
• Billing Information Management: Maintain accurate and complete patient billing records.
• Collaboration: Work with field sales and healthcare professionals for insurance submissions and appeals.
• Appeal Management: Review denials and prepare appeals for patients.
• Sales Goals: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
• Relationship Building: Strengthen ties with customers, sales teams, and leadership.
• Insurance Relationships: Develop connections with insurance providers and alternative funding sources.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: BS degree or relevant experience.
• Required: 2 years of medical authorization experience involving medical record review.
• Preferred: Industry experience with non-reimbursed products.
• Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding (certification preferred), strong communication and negotiation skills, professional persistence, organizational proficiency, multi-tasking ability, sales experience, CRM and Call Center software proficiency, Microsoft 365 experience, proven sales success, adaptability to fast-paced environments.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $56,160 ($27/hr) annually base
