Job Description

This position exists to contribute to the development of integrated transportation plans, studies, and investment programs; coordinating with and participating in state, regional and local planning efforts; and preparing and implementing a program of public involvement. This position carries out professional planning support and analysis in the preparation of statewide, district, modal, system, corridor, and project plans/studies and in the implementation and monitoring of investments in the transportation program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One (1) year of professional level planning experience demonstrating all the following:

• Experience supporting planning studies and/or planning processes.
• Experience with public engagement.
• Experience preparing professional written communication (e.g., reports, studies, etc.)
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations to others.

Please note: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, or Political Science substitutes for one (1) year of experience.
